I feel your pain as a parent of two, both under the age of 4. Fitness and nutrition are paramount in our family, but it’s not always easy to find time to get the exercise in or to prepare the healthiest meals. You have to be consistent, be dedicated, and make it way of life. Fitness and healthy diet can’t just be something you’ll work on occasionally or get around to eventually. They must become key pillars in your lifestyle. As a parent you also have to reset your expectations and get the workouts in when you can, as long as you’re getting them in consistently. Also being prepared will help significantly. For example, prepare meals/snacks the night before so you don’t succumb to cravings the next day and eat shit food when you didn’t bring lunch/snacks with you.
